PHASE WHERE THE FOCUS IS ON BUILDING THE ENDOWMENT FUNDS FROM WHICH
GRANTS WILL BE GIVEN. INITIAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON MAKING GRANTS IS
PROVIDED BELOW.

All applicants will be expected to complete the NCF Grant Application form, including a budget.
The NCF may not be able to cover the full cost of a project or initiative so applicants are encouraged to also identify other sources of funding.
Grant applications will be considered by the Community and Grants Committee, and a member of that committee may want to interview the applicant or make a visit to the organisation. Grant decisions will be made by the Board of Directors, based on the
recommendations of that committee.
The length of time between application and decision will depend on the meeting dates of the Committee and Board.
Conditions may be applied to individual grants made, at the discretion of the Community and Grants Committee and Board of Directors.
